Waterfront Party

The first riders will start arriving at the finish line at Munro Preserve around 12:30 pm. This beautiful waterfront park is a Mattapoisett Land Trust property that is forever preserved for everyone’s use and enjoyment. Here the Mattapoisett Land Trust and the Friends of the Mattapoisett Bike Path will host a party for riders, volunteers, friends and family. After your ride, hot food, cold beverages (including Buzzards Bay Brewing tHeGoLdeNfLoUnder), fresh fruit and live music by the Jeff Dunn Band will be provided.  Riders can also get a massage from Barley Wellness for those weary muscles and simply relax in a beautiful serene setting.

Upon arriving at the park, riders can check in and receive food tickets which can be redeemed for food and beverages.  Food will be provided by the Oxford Creamery from its “OxCart,” by the Seaport Slip and by How on Earth.

The OxCart’s menu includes chowder, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, french fries, clam cakes and lobster rolls. Yum!  And for those of you who raise at least $100, we will give you a coupon for a lobster roll.

The Seaport Slip, located on the Mattapoisett Town Wharf across the parking lot from Munro Preserve, provides a wide array of hot and cold food including items such as chili, hot dogs, chili cheese dogs, corn dogs, and much more.  And, if you are not fully sated on ice cream, the Slip offers hard and soft ice cream and ice cream novelties.

This year How on Earth will also be providing food and beverages, including wraps, salads and snack packs.  How on Earth is a local cafe, store and caterer providing healthy food and aiding our local economy through sourcing products and ingredients from area farms and local producers.  How on Earth is located on Route 6 in Mattapoisett.
